So I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years now and have never used a sketch as a guide. I did my first layout using a sketch today. I am not sure if I am happy with the way it turned out but I did enjoy not having to think so much for a design.

Your layout turned out fantastic Leanne. I mentioned in my email to you in the Scrapbook classes group that I go to Let's Scrap and use their sketches. But I think you must have found them already because this looks just like the sketch they have going on this week.
